Up to five people can dig with the Director, Travis Wellman, at either the Boot Hill or the Golden Promise Fossil sites. The Boot Hill site is Stonerose's primary site where the public digs, but with Travis's assistance you will learn proper quarrying techniques that can help you unlock it's true potential. The Golden Promise is an exclusive site on private property to which Stonerose gets limited access. At the Golden Promise, small fish fossils are common, but the collecting process is a lot more delicate.
